I tend to make songs and delete them but lately I have been saving them. These are songs that couldn't quite fit into the theme I was going for regarding the soundtrack so here they are.

Over the years I have made so many songs and soundtracks. These Steel Punch ones have been my favorites because I have the visuals for the game in my head so when I check them out I can picture how fun it would be to play. I realized a while back that the easiest way for me to actually work on songs is to give myself an assignment so I came up with this final (I hope...) soundtrack for this game series. Steel Punch VII: Last One Out Of Hallowton Burn It To The Ground. I hope you like some songs on it. This is all over the place in terms of speeds and genres much like the previous soundtracks.

While making the soundtrack for Steel Punch 6: Non-Compliant I made a lot of songs that didn't fit into the theme I was going for. Instead of trashing them I saved them and here you go. 

Steel Punch Origins: Rise Of Gideon Soundtrack

Five years ago I made a video game soundtrack inspired by Streets Of Rage 2 called Steel Punch. Then I made Steel Punch 2: Gideon's Revenge. Then came Steel Punch 3: Ladies Night. Then there was Steel Punch 4: Waking Maria. I thought I was finished after making Steel Punch 5: Brokenhearted City. Well, last week I was making a song and the idea of the main villain, Gideon, popped into my head. I wanted to make something that traced his beginnings. So here is Steel Punch Origins: The Rise Of Gideon.

See, Steel Punch is a series of video games that exist only in my head. All the heroes and villains and characters have not been drawn or written down by me so when I listen to the songs I can easily imagine what is happening. Maybe one day I'll at least write out the story. All the titles link to the soundtracks if you want to check them out.

Steel Punch 5: Brokenhearted City Soundtrack

I have finally completed the last installment of the Steel Punch series titled Steel Punch 5: Brokenhearted City. I have made these as a sort of love letter to fighting games like Streets Of Rage 2. I made the first Steel Punch soundtrack and had no intentions of making another. Then I made Steel Punch 2: Gideon's Revenge and that was fun. Then I made Steel Punch 3: Ladies Night and had that as a all lady themed video game. At the end of that I added some child laughter and that made me think “What if these characters had kids?” and made Steel Punch 4: Waking Maria. I seriously thought I was finished. And then a couple of months ago I had the idea to have all the good guys from the previous games turn bad and made this new one, Steel Punch 5: Brokenhearted City.

I have made hundreds of songs using Looperman and will be sending links to the people whose music I have used to create this stuff. For whatever reason these never load in order so click here to see the track listings. This soundtrack contains 16 tracks. I removed bonus levels from this to smooth things out and even made some songs shorter than usual. This was fun and thanks for checking this out. I had a lot of fun making this.
