Retrograde 3: Unlimited Quarters

Over the last few weeks I have been working on this Retrograde 3 soundtrack (click here for part one and here for part two). I had to ask some folks for video game suggestions because for all the hours I spent playing them growing up I was going blank as hell when trying to come up with some to do. These are songs inspired by classic video games, not remakes. Thanks to Dan, Mark, Heidi and especially Brad (he suggested like six songs) for the ideas. Here is a track listing even though the program jumbles the up anyway.

Did this song over a week ago but have been a lazy ass so I didn't load it until today. Nice vocals by Rasputin on Looperman.

Grand Theft Otter Pop

I did this song the other night and I love how odd it sounds. The mix of the synth, piano, and drums sounds super pleasant to me. The title was just me being weird.
 

Periwinkle

I love the way this came out. The synth beat sounds so nice I felt bad even adding anything over it. The title means nothing.
 

Desperado

I did this a few nights ago and loved the way it came out. It has some Spanish flair to it which I enjoy.   I'm trying to keep things more simple for a minute.

Pinched Nerve

I was looking for something creepy and found some synths and such that sounded exactly like what I was looking for. I almost ended up making another soundtrack for something because of this and stopped myself.

Aluminum Forest

Sometimes I will make a song and I am not sure why I like it as much as I do. This is one of those songs. Not even quite sure what genre this is so I put chill because...that is what it feels like. Don't ask about the title either.
 

Rob Zombie Dragula Remix

I did this remix last week and forgot to even load the damn thing. I wanted to do a rap version of Rob Zombie's song Dragula because every remix sounded insane or too much like the original.
 

Emergency Exit

I did this weird song the other night and for whatever reason liked it even more when I woke up this morning and listened to it. By the way anything I make is meant to be listened to on headphones.
 

Bad Moon Rising Remix

I did this remix of the Creedence Clearwater Revival song Bad Moon Rising. I had to change the bpm and the acapella had parts of the song so I had to chop it out at the right moment. I like the way it came out.
 

Beyonce Irreplaceable Remix

I was working on a random ass beat and ended up realizing it would be better with some music. I found an acapella of Beyonce's song Irreplaceable and slowing down the bpm.
 

Cult Of G's And Hustlas

I was gonna try and use the vocals of Cult Of Personality by Living Colour and make my own beat when I started humming Gz And Hustlas by Snoop Dogg so I decided to just combine the two. This was fun.
