I just be making songs for no reason. I made a soundtrack for a made up game called All Gas the last couple weeks while on break at work using a program on my phone called Groovepad. It started with one song and then I just kept going and going with no clear end goal and just using what felt right at the time. I even erased some songs because they didn't quite fit.
This entire soundtrack was on accident as most of the ones I make are. Just making a random beat and it gets me to thinking of games I used to play. I will actually listen to ten seconds of a games soundtrack to make sure I have the vibe right at times.

Did a remix of All American Rejects Gives You Hell. I made a mashup featuring Hall and Oates She's Gone, Chicago Feelin' Strong Every Day, Queen Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and Tom Petty I Need To Know. Then I did a remix of Lisa Loeb Stay.
A month or so ago I made a video game inspired song and decided I wanted to do another soundtrack featuring various games from different consoles/generations. There is Bowser, Operation Wolf, Castlevania, Street Fighter, Star Rider, Hang On, Sunset Riders, T&C Surf, Comix Zone, and California Games. Just realized this is the seventh I've done! And I need to stop saying something is the last one.

Keeping with the theme of me needing an assignment to make anything I decided to make a soundtrack for a movie in my head where this guy that works at a pizza place keeps receiving calls from Death (and he KNOWS its Death) but keeps dodging the calls and putting Death on hold.
